Disney Characters As Humans by Jirka Väätäinen

Discovered via What Disney Princesses Would Look Like If They Were Actually Human by Jamie Frevele from the artist's blog at Jirka Väätäinen.

From the article:

Jirka Väätäinen is a graphic design student at the Arts University College at Bournemouth in the UK, and he’s come up with some really interesting interpretations of what Disney's animated heroines would look like in real life using photo manipulation
I really enjoyed these and thought you may, too.

This is the most recent and strongest celebrity influence--definitely some Amanda Seyfried in his version of Rapunzel.

  1. I read this article a little while back. I'm not a huge fan of Ariel. I don't know why, but I'm not a fan. I adore the others. Thanks for sharing this!

  2. These are very interesting, although I have to say, they all look like they have had nose jobs with those little button noses!

The last one is probably the closest to what Esmeralda should look like as I am pretty sure she was closely based on Demi Moore, who voiced her.

I would have liked to see them make them a little more real and a little less 'picture perfect'

  3. i'll never understand why disney's cinderella is always shown as very blonde when she's depicted realistically when her hair is strawberry blonde in the movie.

  4. great job but I think belle doesnt look quite like herself. In the cartoon anyway the best scene to really see who belle is. is when she is talking to her father next to his "invention" you can really see the intelligent conservative women she is.
