That's the new 2-minute international trailer for Mirror, Mirror (2012). And I just realized we are only 7 weeks away from release since it is out on March 16th. Wow. I am expecting the media coverage to start boosting soon and I will try to share a good amount of it here.
I am trying to decide how much Snow White discussion to have on the blog. I discussed a lot when I released Sleeping Beauties: Sleeping Beauty and Snow White Tales From Around the World. But there is always more.
And while we are here, a new featurette, too.
Oh, dear! This looks so funny! I'll have to see it.
ReplyDeleteOh, thank God. That was soooo much better than the last trailer. It's interesting--most of what was different about this trailer was them clarifying the tone from the get-go, but I think it made a huge difference, at least to me. I'm actually looking forward to it now, yay!

To be honest, these trailers have pretty much confirmed that the target audience for this is not very broad.
ReplyDeleteThis movie version is going to suffer in comparisons not to the other Snow White later in the year with Kristen Stewart but with Once Upon a Time's version with a deliciously wicked Lana Parrilla as the Wicked Queen and a very epic Snow and Prince Charming backstory.
Going to pass on this one and continue to enjoy my Sunday nights on ABC. For those who get OUAT this spring, tune in and compare...
